    Traveling to the island

    Take the Frenchboro Ferry that leaves from Bass Harbor or a private boat. (Click here for the link)

    Tickets are online or in person at the terminal in Bass Harbor. You can pay to park there as well or bring your car on the Wed, Thurs, or Sun ferry.

    Nearby airports are Bangor, Bar harbor, or Portland with Bangor being the most commonly used option.
