Promise Adventures was born out of a deep love for the island of Frenchboro and the memories created here by the Miller family over six decades. Rev. Dr. James Miller and his wife Janet envisioned a place where others could experience the tranquility and beauty of island life just as they had. This dream led to the establishment of Promise Adventures, a welcoming vacation home designed to be a sanctuary for visitors seeking respite from their busy lives. Our mission is to provide an authentic island experience that connects guests with nature, community, and the simple joys of life.
